Directions to The Eliot Hotel

From South of Boston
Take 93N into Boston to Exit 18, for “Massachusetts Avenue”.  At exit, go straight onto Frontage Road Northbound, then turn left at second traffic light onto the Massachusetts Avenue Connector. Move into the right hand lane and at the traffic light, turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue Northbound.  Take Massachusetts Avenue just over 1.5 miles.  Pass by the side of The Eliot Hotel by crossing over Commonwealth Avenue and continuing straight for 2 more traffic lights to Beacon Street.  Make a left on Beacon and take your 1st left again on Charlesgate West.  At the next light, make a left once more onto Commonwealth Avenue.  Move into the right side lane, as The Eliot Hotel will be 1 block on your right.  Valet parking is available in front of the hotel.

Cape Cod
Take Route 6-West over the Sagamore bridge to 3-North. Take 3-North to 93-North, then see "Route 93N", above.

Providence, RI
Take 95-North to 93-North, then see "Route 93N", above.

From North of Boston
Take 93 South into Boston.  (If coming from the northeast, take 95 South to 93 South)  In Boston from 93S, take EXIT 26 “Route 28-Storrow Drive”.  Follow the ramp, keeping in the left lane for Storrow Drive.  Go approximately a mile and a half on Storrow Drive, staying in the middle lanes until the 4th exit on the left for Fenway/Kenmore.  Stay in the right lane of the ramp, and go straight to the 3rd light.  Turn left onto Commonwealth Avenue.  The Eliot Hotel will be on your right after 1.5 blocks, just before the intersection with Massachusetts Avenue.

Valet parking is available in the front of the hotel.

From West of Boston
Metro West, The Berkshires, NY State
From 90E, take exit #22 (Copley/Prudential).  As the exit ramp splits, stay to the right side for the Copley side.  As you come off of the ramp, turn LEFT onto Dartmouth Street.  Take fifth LEFT onto Commonwealth Avenue.  Take fifth LEFT onto Massachusetts Avenue.  NOTE: Be sure to stay in the right lane of Commonwealth Avenue because it splits just before reaching Massachusetts Avenue. 

The left lane travels underneath Massachusetts Avenue, bypassing it entirely, while the right lane will take you to the intersection with Massachusetts Avenue.  As you turn left onto Massachusetts Avenue, move into the far RIGHT lane.  The Eliot Hotel is on the right side, at the corner of Massachusetts and Commonwealth Avenues.  Valet parking is available from the front or side of the hotel.

Hartford, New Haven, NYC, and Beyond
From NYC and beyond, take 95-NORTH to New Haven, CT.  Then, take 91-NORTH to Hartford, CT.  Then, take 84-EAST to the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90).   Then, take 90-EAST into Boston, following the directions above.

From Logan International Airport
From the airport, follow signs to the Ted Williams Tunnel/I-93.  Follow signs for I-93 and then take I-93 North to Exit 26, "Storrow Drive/Cambridge".  Follow the signs onto Storrow Drive and stay in the middle lanes.  Drive 1.5 miles to the Fourth exit on the left marked "Fenway/Kenmore".  Stay in the right lane of the ramp, (KENMORE SIDE), and go straight to the 3rd light.  Turn left onto Commonwealth Avenue.  The Eliot Hotel will be on your right after 1.5 blocks, just before the intersection with Massachusetts Avenue.

From Logan International Airport via Public Transportation (MBTA)
Exit your terminal by following signs for “ground transportation.”  Board the #22, #33 or #55 MASSPORT SHUTTLE BUS.   At least one of these shuttles will be running until 1:00am each night.  Exit at the “AIRPORT” subway station.  The “AIRPORT” station is on the BLUE LINE of the color coded subway system.   Go to the INBOUND side and ride any train 4 stops to the “GOVERNMENT CENTER” subway station.  

Go up one level to the GREEN LINE subway.   Walk to the WESTBOUND side and board any “B”, “C” or “D” trolley.   Do not board an "E" trolley.  Ride 5 stops to the “Hynes Convention Center/ICA” subway station.  Exit the station through the turnstiles and you will emerge onto Massachusetts Avenue.  Walk to your right (north) on Massachusetts Avenue for 1 block to Commonwealth Avenue.   The hotel will be on the left.   It is at 370 Commonwealth Avenue, at the corner of Commonwealth and Massachusetts Avenues.

From South Station via Public Transportation (MBTA)
From South Station Amtrak Station, go into the main concourse and follow signs for Red Line subway on the lower level.  Walk to the INBOUND side and board any train.  Ride 2 stops to Park Street Station.  Exit train and walk up 1 level to the Green Line. Walk to the SOUTHBOUND/WESTBOUND side.  Board any B, C or D trolley. (Do not board an “E” trolley.) Ride 4 stops to Hynes Convention Center station.

Exit train and go up one level.  Exit station onto Massachusetts Avenue via turnstiles. Walk to your right (north) on Massachusetts Avenue for 1 block to Commonwealth Avenue.  The hotel will be on the left.   It is at 370 Commonwealth Avenue, at the corner of Commonwealth and Massachusetts Avenues.
