Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM (noon). If you arrive early or need to check out late, our team is happy to store your luggage before your room is ready and after checkout at no charge.

We offer three main room categories:

  • Deluxe Guestrooms — Available with one queen bed or two double beds; ideal for couples and solo travelers.
  • One-Bedroom Suites — Feature a separate living room with queen sleeper sofa, separated by French doors; great for families or small groups.
  • Two-Bedroom Suites — Two bedrooms, two Italian marble bathrooms, and a queen sleeper sofa; perfect for families, groups, or luxury-seekers.

All 95 guestrooms and suites include these amenities: complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen HD TVs with cable and streaming, mini-bars, Italian marble bathrooms, signature bathrobes, room service, air-conditioning, work desks, in-room safes, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards, umbrellas, soundproofed windows that open, and complimentary overnight shoeshine. Walk-in showers are available in most rooms.

Yes. To celebrate its centennial year, The Eliot completed a full transformation of all 95 guestrooms and suites. The redesign was led by Boston-based interior designer Alix Keating, bringing a fresh residential sensibility rooted in quiet luxury to the hotel's historic spaces

Our suites feature mini-bars and living room areas with sleeper sofas, but do not include full kitchens. Room service from our award-winning UNI Restaurant is available for all dining needs.

UNI Restaurant is a lively, contemporary izakaya located off the main lobby. Helmed by James Beard Award-winning Chef Ken Oringer, UNI offers innovative sashimi, nigiri, and makimono alongside global street food-inspired small plates, custom cocktails, and an extensive sake menu.

A Continental Buffet Breakfast is served daily in the UNI dining room:

  • Monday – Friday: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM
  • Saturday – Sunday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
    Breakfast is also available through room service.

Chef Ken Oringer is one of Boston's most celebrated culinary figures. He won the James Beard Award for Best Chef: Northeast in 2001, and is also a past winner of the Food Channel's Iron Chef Competition. His career includes stints at some of the country's top kitchens, and he continues to lead UNI's culinary vision.

Yes. Valet parking is available at $65.00 per 24-hour period, without in-and-out privileges. Simply pull up to the front entrance and our doorman will assist you with your vehicle.

The Eliot Hotel is one block from the Hynes Convention Center stop on the MBTA Green Line. We are also one block from the #1 bus, which connects to Harvard Square. The hotel is located at 370 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.

Yes! We welcome pets of all sizes. We do not have size limitations. Pets must be crated if left unaccompanied in the room, and housekeeping services are not provided while a pet is in the room. Absolutely. Our spacious one- and two-bedroom suites offer separate living spaces ideal for families. The hotel is steps from Boston's best family-friendly attractions including Fenway Park, the New England Aquarium, the Museum of Science, Boston Common, and the Public Garden.

We have two intimate event spaces:

  • The Charles Eliot Room — Features a working fireplace and accommodates up to 50 seated guests or 65 for a reception. Serviced by UNI restaurant.
  • The Commonwealth Boardroom — A 288-square-foot boardroom ideal for corporate meetings and small dinner parties of up to 10 people.

Yes. All onsite events are catered by UNI Restaurant, one of Boston's most acclaimed dining establishments. Full meeting planning support is also available.

The Eliot is committed to sustainability. Eco-friendly efforts include ultra-low flow toilets, faucet aerators, LED lighting throughout, motion sensors in employee areas, and a fully integrated recycling program for paper, cardboard, and glass. Guests may also opt into our linen reuse program.

Yes — The Eliot Hotel has a deep commitment to art and hospitality. Permanent installations include a lobby sculpture by Bill Thompson, paintings by James Nares, and most recently the Reconstruction Clock by Dutch designer Maarten Baas, part of his celebrated Real Time series, now permanently installed in the lobby. The hotel regularly hosts community cultural events.
